    Each state in the United States has the immense responsibility, as defined by the Constitution of the United States, to decide how its children should be educated. Each state also must follow federal guidelines, including the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, in order to receive federal funding for its education initiatives. Frequently this causes problems.

    Below are links to each state education governing body. You should visit "your" state to see to see what it is doing to implement the structure of NCLB.
